Do earphones cause cancer?

I practically live with my earphones in, listening to music or podcasts. My mother keeps telling me that the radiation from them will cause brain cancer. Do earphones actually cause cancer, or is she just being overly worried?

Aisa kuch nahi hai beta, earphones se cancer nahi hota. Bas jyaada der lagane se kaan me dard ho sakta hai ya sunne me thodi dikkat ho sakti hai. Thoda kam istemal karo toh accha hai.

My teenager is always glued to his wireless buds and I used to worry about this too. I asked our family doctor and he said there is no scientific link to cancer. But he did warn us about hearing loss, so I make my son limit his screen and earphone time.

Not really, I wear them for hours during my gym and running sessions. Radiation levels are extremely low to cause such issues. Focus on keeping your workouts consistent and eating clean instead of stressing over these rumors.

There is no solid medical proof linking them to cancer. Still, if you are experiencing any weird headaches, ear pain, or dizziness, please go get an ENT specialist checkup. Safety first, always.

No, they don't cause cancer. The radiation they emit is non-ionizing, which is harmless to human DNA. Just make sure you clean the ear tips regularly to avoid ear infections, that is a much more real risk.

No cancer risk there. I use them during my daily 45-minute evening walks to listen to podcasts. Just stay alert to your surroundings while walking, and keep the volume moderate to protect your eardrums.

At my age, my joints ache more than my ears do. Earphones won't give you cancer, but listening to your boss's non-stop calls on them might give you a headache. Keep the volume safe and relax.

I used to read all these scary articles online and got so paranoid! But honestly, it is just a myth. I still use my pods daily for office calls, just keeping the volume at a safe level.

I totally get it, with so much fake news on WhatsApp, it is easy to get scared about everyday things. Rest assured, earphones are safe. Just take small breaks so your ears don't get tired.

If earphones caused serious diseases, half of the food delivery guys and office folks would be in trouble. Don't worry about it. Better to focus on what junk food we are eating while binge-watching shows with those earphones on!

Please do not worry, it is just an old internet rumor. Your earphones are perfectly fine to use daily.

Arrey nahi yaar, earphones se cancer thodi hota hai. Internet pe toh kuch bhi bolte hain na. Bas zyada loud music mat suno, varna kaan pakh jayenge.

I had severe ear pain last year and researched this thoroughly. No cancer connection exists. However, I learned the hard way that cheap rubber tips can cause fungal infections, so buy good quality ones and clean them with sanitizer.

Totally agree with others, there is zero cancer link. Just make sure to limit usage to 1-2 hours at a stretch.

No need to worry at all! Earphones are completely safe from cancer risks. Just keep the volume down and enjoy your favourite music happily.
