Do dreams happen in rem sleep?

I've always been fascinated by dreams and how they work. I remember reading somewhere that dreams happen in REM sleep. Is that really where all the dreaming takes place?

Yes, REM is like the Netflix of your brain where all the wild, high-budget dreams are broadcasted. If you are dreaming about flying on a pressure cooker, you are definitely in deep REM sleep.

Absolutely. Getting good REM sleep is very important because lack of deep sleep can actually affect our morning blood sugar levels and overall metabolic health.

From what I have researched about sleep hygiene, vivid dreams are indeed most common during REM sleep. Keeping a steady sleep schedule really helps regulate these cycles better.

Yes, they absolutely do. Most of our vivid and highly memorable dreams happen during the REM phase of sleep.

Yes, scientific studies confirm REM sleep is when active dreaming occurs. Don't believe random internet posts claiming dreams are messages, it is just basic brain activity that a sleep specialist can explain best.
