Do compression socks help with foot pain?

I'm on my feet for most of the day at my job, and by evening, my feet are killing me. Someone recommended trying compression socks for the pain. Do compression socks actually help with persistent foot pain?

They are great for reducing that post-walk throbbing feeling in the arches. If your doctor allows you to continue light walking, wearing these during your session can really help keep the heel pain and swelling under control.

While compression socks can manage mild aches, persistent foot pain could be due to plantar fasciitis or even diabetic neuropathy. Please get it checked by a podiatrist or orthopedician first to make sure there is no underlying nerve compression.

Yes, they give good support to the soles, but don't spend too much money on fancy brands. Plain copper or cotton compression socks from any local chemist work just fine, along with rolling your foot over a warm water bottle.

Our feet carry the weight of our entire body's journey, so we must care for them. Stay positive and give them rest; these socks are a good way to soothe the tired nerves after a long day of standing.

When my thyroid levels are off, I get bad fluid retention and foot pain, and these socks really help with the puffiness. But remember to keep track of your regular blood reports and follow up with your doctor, because socks only treat the symptom, not the hormonal cause.

Haan, these tight socks are very helpful when your feet ache from standing in the shop all day. My son got me a pair and wearing them for just two hours in the evening gives me great relief.
