Do chiropractors fix back pain?

I've been suffering from chronic lower back pain for years, and it's really affecting my daily life. A friend suggested trying a chiropractor. Do chiropractors actually fix back pain effectively, or is it just temporary relief?

They can give temporary relief, but for chronic back pain, you should consult an orthopedist first. Just like managing thyroid needs regular blood tests and doctor visits, back issues need proper MRI scans before anyone starts cracking your bones.

I have been thinking of visiting one for my upper back ache, but those cracking sounds in videos look so terrifying! Has anyone here actually had a safe experience without any side effects? I am really scared of making my pain worse.

I just finished six sessions for my lower back pain last month. It definitely helped reduce the stiffness, but honestly, the relief only lasted because I combined it with physiotherapy exercises. You can try it, but don't expect a permanent miracle from adjustments alone.

Don't stress too much about the pain, we all get it from these terrible office chairs! Chiropractors can help release the tension, but even simple daily stretching works wonders. Try a warm heating pad tonight and see if that relaxes your muscles first.

I am honestly too scared of chiropractors because what if they pinch a nerve or make the alignment worse? If you go, please make sure they are super qualified and registered. Please be very careful with your spine, it is so delicate!
