Do cherries cause kidney stones?

My doctor recently told me I have a risk of developing kidney stones, and advised me to watch my diet. I love eating cherries, but a relative mentioned they might contribute to stones. Do cherries cause kidney stones?

I eat cherries regularly in season and they have never caused any issues for me. In fact, I read that they might actually help lower uric acid levels.

Cherries are beautiful natural fruits that generally bring goodness to the body. Take care of your health, drink plenty of water, and stay positive.

Cherries are great for recovery and don't cause stones. Keeping active with regular walks and staying hydrated is the best way to keep your kidneys functioning perfectly.

No, they don't cause stones. The most simple and workable solution to prevent kidney stones is just drinking 3 liters of water daily, rather than worrying about specific fruits.

I was avoiding them because I heard fruits with seeds cause stones. Is it safe for someone who already had a kidney stone once to eat cherries?

Cherries do not cause kidney stones. Since I manage high blood pressure, I focus on a low-salt diet and regular doctor checkups, and fruits like cherries are a great addition.
