Do cavities smell like poop?

Mera chota bhai recently complaint kar raha hai ki uske muh se ajeeb si smell aa rahi hai. Maine suna hai ki kabhi kabhi cavities se bahut gandi smell aati hai. Kya cavities se sach mein poop jaisi smell aa sakti hai?

The anaerobic bacteria in deep cavities can produce gases that smell incredibly foul, almost like rotting matter. Eating a clean, fiber-rich vegetarian diet helps reduce general mouth odor, but it won't fix a physical hole in the tooth. You must see a dentist to get the decay removed.

I used to panic thinking I had some terrible stomach infection because of a weird smell in my mouth. It turned out to be just a hidden cavity between two teeth causing that awful odor. Please don't stress yourself out thinking the worst, a simple dental cleaning can solve this.

At this age, body parts love to complain, and yes, a deep cavity can smell pretty horrific. It is basically decaying organic matter inside your mouth, so the smell is bound to be bad. Go get it drilled and filled before your family members start keeping their distance!

Yes, severe tooth decay can emit a very foul odor because of stagnant food. In our days, we used to rinse our mouths with warm salt water or chew a neem twig to keep the mouth fresh, but these are temporary. You must consult a dentist to clean the tooth properly.

A very bad, foul smell from a tooth can sometimes mean there is an active abscess or infection deep in the gums. It is highly risky to ignore this as infections can spread. Please get it evaluated by a dental professional immediately to be safe.
