Do cavities bleed?

When I brush my teeth sometimes, my gums bleed a little. I usually think it's a gum issue, but I'm wondering if this bleeding could also be a sign of a cavity, especially if it's near a dark spot. Do cavities bleed?

Usually, it's the gums around the cavity that bleed, not the tooth itself. I tried warm salt water rinses and oil pulling with coconut oil, which helped soothe my swollen gums a lot. But definitely see a doctor to fix the actual hole.

I had a similar issue last month while juggling tight project deadlines. Bleeding usually means your gums are inflamed because of food getting stuck in that cavity cavity. Don't waste time ignoring it, just book a quick 15-minute dentist appointment to save your weekends.

Wait, does this happen to others too? I noticed some blood while brushing near my bad tooth today and literally panicked thinking my tooth was decaying from inside. Is it always a gum issue or should I run to the clinic?

No, teeth don't bleed. If you see blood, your gums are irritated because of the infection nearby. Just get a filling done, it takes barely any time and solves the whole mess.

Please don't go putting clove oil or random pastes on it thinking the bleeding will stop. Bleeding indicates something is wrong with the tissue, and no internet hack can patch up a decaying tooth. Go to a qualified dentist and get a proper diagnosis.

Bro, I had this during my exams last semester. Every time I brushed, there was light bleeding near my molar. Turned out a deep cavity was irritating my gums, so get it filled before it starts hurting badly.
