When I visited the diabetologist at the hospital, they told me that carrots have a low glycemic index and are completely safe in moderation. However, eating them raw is much better than juicing them, as juice lacks fiber. Always check with your doctor for your specific diet plan.

Managing thyroid and blood sugar issues has taught me the importance of portion control. Carrots are rich in vitamin A and fiber, which is great, but don't overeat them. Keep tracking your fasting sugar and consult your doctor regularly.

My dad has type 2 diabetes and we often include raw carrot slices in his salad plate. He loves the crunch, and it doesn't cause any major spikes as long as he eats them in moderation. It is a sweet, healthy alternative to biscuits!

Carrots are a great non-starchy vegetable option. The fiber in raw carrots helps slow down glucose absorption, which is excellent for insulin sensitivity. Pair them with a protein source like paneer or chicken for a balanced snack.

Yes, carrots are very healthy because they are packed with fiber and essential vitamins. Just remember to eat them whole or as a salad, rather than drinking carrot juice, because juicing removes the fiber and concentrates the sugars.
