Do cancer lumps move?
My colleague found a lump, and the doctor told him it was benign partly because it was movable. I found a small lump on my side too, and it also seems to move easily. Do cancer lumps usually move freely?

Honestly, don't waste time trying to guess by touching it yourself. Usually, cancerous lumps are hard and fixed in one place, but only a proper biopsy can confirm. Better book an appointment with an oncologist and get an ultrasound done this week.
I know how scary it is to find a lump, but please try to breathe. Sometimes harmless cysts can move around, but cancer lumps are generally quite firm and stuck to the tissue. Just go to a doctor tomorrow so you can stop stressing about it.
I went through this exact same worry last year. Mine felt totally fixed and didn't move at all, which is when my doctor immediately sent me for a mammogram. Please get it checked by a specialist right away instead of checking it daily at home.
Generally speaking, benign or non-cancerous lumps tend to slip or move when you press them. Malignant ones are often hard, painless, and rooted deeply. Don't panic, but do get a clinical breast exam or scan done to be absolutely sure.
For small muscle knots or normal glands, warm compresses and turmeric milk help a lot. But if this lump is hard and doesn't budge at all, home remedies won't work. You must show it to a specialist immediately to see what it is.
