Do cancer lumps hurt when pressed?

I noticed a small lump on my arm yesterday while applying lotion. It's not painful when I leave it alone, but if I press it, there's a little discomfort. Do cancer lumps hurt when pressed?

My priority is always safety when it comes to my family. Many cancerous lumps actually do not hurt at all when pressed, which is why people ignore them. Please don't wait for pain to develop; get it checked by a pediatrician or family doctor immediately.

Hey buddy, don't stress too much over this. Usually, cancerous lumps are hard and painless, but only a doctor can tell for sure after a quick scan. Just book an appointment for tomorrow and get it sorted, no need to worry yourself to sleep!

I know exactly how terrifying it is to find a lump and keep pressing it to see if it hurts, hoping it is just a normal muscle pain. The anxiety can make you feel sick physically. Please take a deep breath and book a doctor appointment; getting it checked is the only way to quiet that anxious mind.

Please be very cautious. My cousin had a painless lump that didn't hurt even when pressed, and we delayed the checkup thinking it was just a benign swelling. It turned out to be malignant and had already spread. Go to an oncologist without any delay.

Do not let fear consume your peace of mind. While most cancerous lumps are indeed painless, it is wise to act responsibly and let a medical expert examine it. Keep a positive mind, take care of your body, and seek proper medical guidance.

There is no point guessing at home whether a lump is dangerous or not based on pain. The best and most practical solution is to visit a government hospital or local clinic and get a simple ultrasound done. It is cheap and gives clear answers.
