Do breast cancer lumps move?

My friend found a lump recently and the doctor asked if it moves. I always thought cancer lumps were fixed. Do breast cancer lumps move, or does that usually indicate something else? I am trying to understand the symptoms.

I panicked completely when I found a sliding lump in my breast last year. When the doctor checked, it turned out to be a harmless fibroadenoma, which moves easily. Cancerous lumps are usually fixed in one place.

Whether a lump moves or feels fixed, you should never guess its nature at home. It is always safest to get a mammogram and consult a breast specialist immediately for an accurate diagnosis.

Typically, cancerous lumps are firm and feel fixed to the surrounding tissue rather than moving around. Keep a close eye on your overall health and ensure you get regular medical checkups.

I was reading about this on medical websites, and they say malignant lumps tend to feel firmly attached to the breast tissue. Benign ones are usually the ones that roll under your fingers.

Actually, cancerous lumps are usually hard and don't move around when you press them, yaar. If it is slippery and moving, it might be a benign cyst, but you should definitely show a doctor.

Cancerous lumps are generally hard and immovable, unlike benign cysts. Along with managing my daily blood pressure, I always prioritize yearly screenings and doctor visits to catch any health issues early.

I felt a small hard spot that doesn't seem to move when I press it. I am feeling extremely anxious right now. Did anyone else have a fixed lump that turned out to be completely harmless?
