Do blue light glasses help with sleep?

I spend so much time on my laptop for work and then my phone at night, and I often struggle to fall asleep. My friend suggested getting blue light glasses to wear in the evenings. Do blue light glasses actually help with sleep?

I used to buy all these online gadgets like blue light glasses thinking they would fix my severe insomnia, and ignored it for a year. It turned out to be a thyroid issue that needed proper medication. Don't rely on these simple fixes if your sleep issues are severe; get a proper health checkup done first.

I've been thinking of buying a pair because my sleep has been terrible lately, but they are quite expensive. Do they actually work, or is it just smart marketing? If anyone here has used them and noticed a real difference in their sleep quality, please let me know.

My doctor told me that blue light glasses only block a tiny fraction of screen light and aren't a magic cure for sleep issues. He explained that the real culprit is screen stimulation keeping our brain active, not just the blue light. He advised me to simply switch off all screens one hour before bed instead of buying glasses.

I always suggest natural ways like reading a book under a warm yellow light or meditating for ten minutes before sleeping. Blue light glasses might reduce some eye strain, but they won't cure chronic sleeplessness. If you are struggling to sleep for weeks, please consult a doctor instead of trying online remedies.

Beta, these modern glasses might help a little, but the best way to sleep well is to keep your phone in another room at night. Try washing your feet with cool water and drinking warm milk before sleeping, which we have done for generations. It is much better than relying on plastic glasses.
