Do black lights give you cancer?

I'm planning a party and thought about using black lights for a cool effect in the room. But then someone mentioned that black lights might cause cancer. Is this true, or am I just being paranoid about nothing serious?

Black lights emit UVA radiation, which is much weaker than the sun's rays, so they don't cause cancer with normal, occasional use. Just like keeping our diet clean and antioxidant-rich helps fight cell damage, avoiding unnecessary exposure to any artificial radiation is always a safe habit.

There is no scientific proof that typical exposure to black lights causes cancer. It is just like managing any health risk—moderation is key. Just focus on your overall metabolic health and don't worry about occasional party lights.

The energy from black lights is very low and generally harmless for our skin in small amounts. It is much better to focus on soaking in natural, gentle morning sunlight for our health and keeping our minds calm through daily meditation.

If black lights caused cancer, every club-goer and bowling alley fan would be in big trouble! Don't worry, unless you are staring directly into them for days, they are totally harmless. Enjoy the glow!

I agree with others here. Black lights are perfectly safe for casual use and do not cause cancer.
