Do biopsy cause cancer?

I was just reading about medical procedures and saw the word 'biopsy'. It made me wonder, can getting a biopsy itself actually cause cancer to develop? Or is it only done when cancer is already suspected, and it doesn't cause it?

No, a biopsy does not cause cancer at all. It is simply a diagnostic test to find out if cancer is present. Please get it checked quickly so you have an accurate medical report to stay safe.

Bilkul nahi! Biopsy se cancer kaise ho sakta hai? Woh toh sirf testing ka tareeqa hai yeh dekhne ke liye ki andar kya problem hai. फालतू की बातें मत सोचो और डॉक्टर की सलाह मानो।

I have PCOS and I always worry about medical tests too, so I understand your hesitation. But from what I know, a biopsy is purely for testing and cannot create or cause cancer. It is best to discuss your fears openly with your specialist.

A biopsy only checks the cells and is totally safe. Since you need to get it done, I suggest checking prices at government-empanelled labs or TPA networks, as hospital rates can be quite high. Planning the cost beforehand saves a lot of stress.

Please don't worry. A biopsy is only a test and is completely safe. It does not cause cancer, so you can safely go ahead with it.

Hey, take a deep breath. A biopsy is just a diagnostic tool, meaning it only detects what is already there; it cannot create cancer cells or cause the disease. You are in safe hands, so don't let these thoughts ruin your peace of mind.

When my son had a small growth that needed a biopsy, I had the same scary thoughts. The doctor kindly explained that it is just taking a tiny sample for laboratory analysis and is completely safe. Please don't worry, your doctors are there to help.

No, a biopsy cannot cause cancer. In my line of work, we see thousands of these procedures; they are highly controlled and sterile tests designed purely to identify the type of cells present. It is the most reliable way to get an accurate answer.

I can only tell you about my own experience when I had a thyroid biopsy done two years ago. It was a very simple needle test, done in ten minutes, and it didn't cause any health issues for me. It just helped clear my doubts.

That is absolutely a myth. A biopsy is a diagnostic test, not a cause of illness. Don't believe random internet posts and make sure you get the test done as advised by your medical specialist.

My elders were also very hesitant about such procedures in the old days. But our family doctor explained that a biopsy is just a small test and completely safe. It cannot cause any new disease, so please trust your doctor and proceed calmly.

Hey, definitely not! A biopsy is just like taking a screenshot of your cells to see what is happening. It doesn't cause any new disease or cancer, so you are totally safe. Don't worry about it!

Just like keeping track of your daily BP, getting timely tests like a biopsy is crucial for knowing your body's true health status. It is a sterile, standard testing method and cannot cause cancer. Keep your lifestyle stress-free and get your regular checkups done.

In my seventy years, I have seen many family members undergo biopsies for various reasons. None of them ever got cancer because of the test. It is a completely safe procedure, so please don't let old myths scare you.

I agree with everyone. A biopsy is purely a testing method and is completely safe, so please don't let this fear delay your checkup.
