Do beets detox the liver?

I often read articles online about natural ways to stay healthy. I came across several claims that beets are great for 'detoxing' the liver. Is there any scientific basis to this, or is it just a health trend with no real proof?

I tried drinking raw beetroot juice daily to 'detox' and ended up with a painful kidney stone because of the high oxalates. Please don't blindly follow these trends. If you suspect any liver issue, please visit a gastro doctor first for a proper scan.

With my busy corporate routine, I don't have time for elaborate detox juices. I just eat normal home food and have beetroot as a salad side when possible. Realistically, avoiding alcohol and heavy dinners does far more for your liver than any single vegetable can.

I actually just started learning about healthy eating and wanted to try beetroot juice for liver health. Is it safe to drink it daily, or should I be careful about the quantity? I would really appreciate any gentle advice on this.

Don't stress so much about these 'detox' trends, okay? Your liver is already doing a fantastic job of cleaning your body naturally. Eating beets is healthy, yes, but just focus on sleeping well, reducing processed food, and keeping your body hydrated.
