Do babies get hepatitis b vaccine?

My wife and I are making a vaccination schedule for our baby. We heard about the Hepatitis B vaccine, but I'm not sure if it's given to infants. Do babies generally receive the Hepatitis B vaccine as part of their routine shots?

Yes, absolutely, the Hepatitis B vaccine is given to babies right at birth. While we use traditional home remedies like breast milk or warm compresses for minor swelling after the injection, the vaccine itself is essential and cannot be skipped.

Haan ji, bache ke janamte hi hospital wale sabse pehle Hepatitis B ka teeka lagate hain. Yeh bahut zaroori hai bache ko bimarion se bachane ke liye. Aapke sarkari aspatal mein bhi yeh bilkul free mein lag jata hai.

Yes, they definitely get it. I recently had my newborn vaccinated with the Hep B birth dose at the hospital. The baby cried for just a minute but was completely fine after feeding. Please ensure you don't miss this first crucial step.

Yes, it is a standard vaccine given at birth, and then followed up at 6, 10, and 14 weeks. Just keep the vaccination card safe and set reminders on your phone so you don't miss any of the follow-up doses. It is very simple to manage.

Yes, they get it on day one itself! I remember being so worried about the vaccination pain that I kept munching on extra mathris in the hospital room. Thankfully, the doctor handled it so quickly that my baby barely even noticed.

Yes, it is part of the mandatory immunization schedule in India. When my baby was born, the nurses explained that it protects their liver for the long run. Just follow your pediatrician's schedule carefully.

I know how terrifying it feels to watch your tiny baby get an injection, I used to lose sleep over vaccination days. But please be reassured, the Hepatitis B vaccine is highly researched, completely safe, and extremely important for your baby's future health.
