Do asthma inhalers go bad?

My asthma inhaler has been lying around for a bit, and I'm not sure if it's still good. Does the medication in asthma inhalers lose its effectiveness over time? How do I know if it has 'gone bad'?

Yes, they go bad and can lose their pressure or potency. I once made the mistake of using an old, kept-away inhaler during a wheezing spell and it didn't help at all. Please go to your doctor and get a fresh prescription for safety.

Yes, everything has its time and limits, and so do these inhalers. Keep your mind calm, take care of your health, and make sure to replace your old medicines timely so you are always safe.

They definitely go bad, just like food kept in the fridge too long! Don't risk using a stale one during an attack. Better to check the date on the canister and buy a fresh one from the pharmacy.

Yes, they do go bad, and the chemical inside can degrade. I always check my son's inhaler expiry dates at the start of every month. It is better to be safe and keep an extra, unexpired one handy at home.

Haan beta, kharab toh hote hain, unme likha rehta hai ki kab tak chalega. Purana dabba mat chalana kabhi, asar nahi karega bimari par. Naya khareed lo dukan se.
