Do apples help you sleep?

I've been having trouble falling asleep lately, and I'm trying to find natural ways to improve my sleep. A colleague told me that eating an apple before bed might help. Is there any truth to this, do apples actually help you sleep better?

I usually eat an apple if I get midnight cravings while studying. It doesn't magically put me to sleep, but it keeps my stomach quiet so I can actually fall asleep without feeling heavy.

I read that the natural sugars in apples might give some people a tiny energy boost, so I was worried about eating them late. Maybe try eating them early evening rather than right before bed to be safe.

They have some vitamin C and B6 which help, but a light evening stroll for 20 minutes is far better for sleep. Combine a healthy evening apple snack with some movement for the best sleep cycle.

Actually, they don't have any sleeping pill effect, yaar. But eating a light fruit instead of a heavy cheese sandwich at night definitely makes digestion easier, which helps you sleep better.

I totally get it, struggling to sleep is so frustrating and exhausting. While apples have good vitamins, maybe also try keeping your phone away and drinking warm milk for better rest.

A light stomach is essential for deep sleep. Eating satvik foods like a sweet apple in the evening, followed by 5 minutes of deep breathing, helps calm the nervous system naturally.

Buying local apples as an evening snack is much cheaper than buying melatonin gummies or sleeping teas. It's a very cost-effective way to keep your digestive system happy before bed.
