Do apples have acidity?

I often suffer from acidity, especially after certain foods. I usually consider apples a healthy option, but sometimes I feel a bit of discomfort after eating them. Do apples naturally have acidity, or is it just how my body reacts?

They have a little malic acid, but they won't burn your stomach like a plate of spicy chole bhature, haha! Usually, they are quite safe unless you eat them on an empty stomach.

Yes, some sour green apples can trigger acid reflux if you have a weak stomach. Stick to the sweet red variety and don't eat them on a completely empty morning stomach.

I feel a weird sour sensation in my throat whenever I eat raw apples in the afternoon. Does this happen to anyone else here, or is it just my digestion?

They do have a mild sour kick, especially the green ones, but I love dipping them in a bit of peanut butter! It balances the mild acidity perfectly and tastes amazing.

I used to get severe chest burns after eating green apples and got super worried. But then I switched to fully sweet red apples and made sure not to eat them late at night, and now it's absolutely fine.
