Do all obese people get diabetes?

Currently overweight, and with a family history of diabetes, I'm very worried. My mother keeps saying that if I don't lose weight, I will definitely get diabetes. Is it true that all obese people eventually develop diabetes?

No, weight is just one factor in metabolic health. Plenty of heavy individuals have excellent insulin sensitivity, but staying active with resistance training and cardio definitely lowers your risks.

Don't stress too much about your weight defining your health completely. Just focus on small, positive lifestyle changes day by day, and get a routine HbA1c test to keep a safe track.

It is not a rule, but keeping weight in check protects your pancreas. Drinking fenugreek water in the morning is great for blood sugar, but make sure to check your levels with a doctor regularly.

Let's be real: obesity increases the risk, but it is not a guarantee that you will get diabetes. Many thin people also get it due to genetic reasons, so just focus on your diet.
