Do 30 year olds have heart attacks?

Just turned 30 and have been feeling a bit stressed lately. My uncle recently had a heart attack, which got me worried. Can 30-year-olds actually have heart attacks, or is it usually for older people?

Yes they do, and it is absolutely terrifying to think about. I struggled with severe anxiety for months after a friend of mine had a heart scare at age thirty-one. It really shakes your sense of safety when you realize we aren't invincible at this age.

Unfortunately, cardiac cases in young Indians are rising rapidly due to lifestyle and genetics. If you have any family history of heart disease, go to a good hospital and get a lipid profile done. Ask your doctor clearly about what preventive tests you need at thirty.

I used to panic every time I felt a slight chest pinch, thinking I was having a heart attack at thirty. But after getting a proper ECG done, my doctor reassured me it was just acidity and stress. While it can happen, most daily chest pains in young people are not heart attacks, so don't panic.

A close colleague of mine had a mild heart attack at thirty-two, which was a huge wake-up call for our entire office. He survived because he got to the hospital on time, and now he is much more conscious about his health. It definitely happens, so we can't take our health lightly.

Yes yaar, actually it has become quite common now because of high stress and bad sleep cycles. We think we are young and nothing will happen, but we really need to check our lifestyle. Even my doctor told me to stop doing heavy workouts without checking my basic health stats first.

It does happen, and often there are underlying issues like thyroid imbalance or cholesterol that we ignore in our twenties. I realized how important regular body checkups are only after my thyroid went completely out of whack. Please get your annual blood tests done and follow up with a doctor.

Seeing all these news about young guys getting heart attacks really scares me, especially since I live for street food and deep-fried samosas. I guess it is time to cut back on the oil and eat some salads, even if it tastes like grass!
