Did trump end cancer research?

A friend of mine who is quite politically active mentioned that Trump completely ended cancer research. This sounds quite drastic and hard to believe. Can anyone clarify if such a thing actually happened, or if it's an exaggeration?

Do not let these sensational news stories disturb your peace of mind. Cancer research is a noble, global effort that can never be stopped by any single leader. Staying calm, practicing gentle yoga, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the best way we can protect our own well-being.

As a healthcare professional, I can assure you that cancer research is fully active worldwide. National institutions, private laboratories, and universities in the US and globally are constantly working on new treatments. Please don't let viral rumors cause you unnecessary worry.

This is completely false news, cancer research is actually advancing faster than ever with AI and gene therapy. No single president can just end global oncology research. If you track medical innovations online, you'll see amazing breakthrough reports being published almost every single week.

Haan na, these internet rumors are sometimes so scary for no reason. People just share anything on social media without verifying, ho na. Thankfully, the doctors are still doing their work and research is going on normally.
