Did trump defund pediatric cancer research?

As a mother, news about children's health issues, especially cancer, really hits hard. I vaguely remember something about Trump's administration defunding pediatric cancer research. Is this true? Any information on this would be helpful.

Let us keep a positive outlook and pray for the well-being of all children. The universe has a way of supporting those who do good work, and the global efforts to cure childhood cancer will never really stop. Take care and keep your heart full of hope.

Reading anything about pediatric cancer can be so deeply heartbreaking and trigger so much worry, especially for parents. I completely understand why you would feel anxious seeing news like this online. Thankfully, the actual funding for children's cancer research remained protected by the government.

As grandparents, we always worry about the health of our little ones. While we try to feed our children clean, home-cooked food to keep their health good, we must rely completely on modern medicine for serious issues. It is reassuring to know that global hospitals are still getting the support they need to treat kids.

I once ignored some minor health warning signs in my own body and ended up needing major surgery later, which I deeply regret. When it comes to our children, we must never delay a doctor's visit if we notice persistent fever, weight loss, or unusual bruising. Early detection is what truly saves lives, regardless of political news.

For us in India, what matters most is finding practical and affordable care for our kids if need arises. Premier institutes like AIIMS and Tata Memorial have dedicated pediatric oncology departments that offer world-class treatment at very nominal costs. We should focus on knowing these local resources.

Well, politics will always have its ups and downs, but we can keep our own family's immunity high with good eating habits. I love preparing fresh fruit smoothies and nuts for the kids in my family instead of giving them packed junk food. Healthy habits start right in our own kitchens!

As a parent whose child went through cancer therapy, I know how terrifying these budget rumors can be. Fortunately, the US actually launched major new pediatric cancer funding initiatives, like the STAR Act, during his term. The research to save our children is still very much active and well-funded.

Just thinking about kids dealing with cancer makes my throat tighten up with emotion, it is the most difficult thing to digest. When you hear rumors of funding cuts, it just makes you feel so hopeless about the world. But it is a relief to know that those rumors aren't true and the fight for these kids goes on.
