Did china find a cure for diabetes?

My family has a history of diabetes, and it's a constant concern for us. I came across some news online suggesting that China has found a cure for diabetes. Can anyone confirm if this is true, or is it just wishful thinking?

No, they have not found a standard cure yet. I have had severe diabetic neuropathy because I didn't take my daily medicines seriously, so please don't stop your current treatments based on internet news. Always consult your doctor before making any changes.

It was actually a stem-cell therapy study where one patient went off insulin, but it is not a general cure yet. I use a continuous glucose monitor to keep my levels stable daily, which is much more practical for managing diabetes right now.

They had a scientific breakthrough in a single-patient trial, but it is not a proven cure for the public. Managing your BP and blood sugar through regular checkups and a healthy lifestyle remains the only real defense we have today.

No, it was just an experimental stem cell study on one patient, not a commercially available cure yet.

No, beta, they did some research on one person but it is not a cure for everyone yet. Don't worry, just eat your home-cooked meals on time and take your regular medicines daily.

My family often talks about traditional ways to control sugar, but we must trust science. The news from China was about a single successful stem cell trial, not a complete cure, so please continue following your endocrinologist's prescription.

The study involved using autologous endoderm stem cells to restore islet function, but my doctor clarified that it requires years of clinical trials before it becomes a standard treatment. Do not discontinue your routine insulin or oral hypoglycemics.

I was researching this too! It was a single-patient study published in a medical journal where stem cells helped reverse type 2 diabetes. It is a fantastic step forward, but we are still years away from a mass cure.
