Can your liver hurt?

For the past few days, I've had a mild discomfort or soreness feeling on my upper right abdomen. I'm wondering if this pain could be coming from my liver, or if it's something else entirely. Does the liver typically cause a painful sensation?

Yes, our body signals us when it is carrying stress or toxins, and the liver can feel heavy or dull. Keep your mind peaceful and drink clean water. Always seek medical advice if the discomfort doesn't go away.

Yes, liver pain is real, usually felt as a dull ache in the upper right side of your stomach. Because I manage diabetes, I have to be careful about fatty liver, which can cause this discomfort. It is best to get a liver function test and consult your doctor.

I totally get it, experiencing pain in that area can make you worry so much. A dull ache can happen due to swelling or fatty liver issues. Please get it checked by a physician so you can get the right care and peace of mind.

Yes, it can. I track my nutrition and workouts, and whenever I felt a dull right-side ache, I noted it down. It is often due to inflammation or fat buildup in the liver. A quick ultrasound can easily identify what is going on.

Yes, liver swelling can cause a distinct dull pain under your ribcage. I went to a gastroenterologist at a reputable hospital and got an ultrasound and LFT done. I suggest you ask your doctor clearly about these tests to get a proper diagnosis.

Yes, it can hurt if it is inflamed or fatty. A practical way is to stop any drinking immediately, eat simple ghar ka khana with less oil, and visit your local family doctor for a routine checkup. It doesn't cost much to get checked.

Yeah, it actually can. I had a dull ache on my upper right side last year after eating too much junk food constantly. It turned out to be fatty liver, and my doctor told me to cut the oily stuff and exercise.
