Can your liver burst?

This might sound silly, but I was thinking about the body's limits. Is it actually possible for a liver to 'burst' or severely rupture, maybe from a strong impact or some kind of disease? I'm just curious about how durable organs are.

I was reading up on organ health out of curiosity and found that a liver doesn't just burst like a balloon. However, a severe injury or an advanced abscess can cause it to rupture, which is extremely dangerous. It is always best to get any severe abdominal pain checked.

Sometimes after a heavy biryani feast, I feel like my stomach might burst, but thankfully the liver doesn't work that way! A real liver rupture only happens due to major accidents or very severe medical issues. Just eat clean, avoid extreme junk, and keep your body happy.

I had high liver enzymes last year and was genuinely terrified my liver would rupture or fail. My doctor laughed gently and reassured me that the liver is a highly resilient organ. Unless there is massive physical trauma, it is not going to burst.

Our bodies are beautiful systems built to protect us, and the liver is highly robust. Daily practice of mild yoga can improve your digestion and keep the abdominal organs healthy. But for any sharp, sudden pain, always consult an expert doctor immediately.

I used to try various herbal teas to cure my husband's severe right-side belly pain, but we realized home remedies have limits. A liver cannot just burst under normal conditions, but if there is an infection, only medical doctors can treat it safely.

When my father was diagnosed with severe liver swelling, I spent sleepless nights crying and worrying his liver would rupture. It is an incredibly scary feeling to go through, but with proper medical care, the liver actually manages to recover very well.
