Can young people get arthritis?

My grandmother has severe arthritis, and I've always thought it's an old-age disease. Lately, my knee has been hurting a bit, and I'm only in my twenties. Is it possible for someone my age to develop arthritis?

Beta, when I was in my late 20s, I used to think joint pain is only for old folks. But my cousin got diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at just 24. It happens, so don't think you are too young for this. Just get it checked by a rheumatologist early on.

Yes, young people definitely get it, sometimes due to autoimmune issues or old sports injuries. You can try having warm turmeric milk at night and using hot oil massages to soothe the mild aches. But honestly, if your joints are constantly swollen or red, please skip the home remedies and visit a proper doctor first.

Haan yaar, perfectly normal hai aajkal toh. My colleague is only 26 and usko uric acid levels ki wajah se joint pain start ho gaya tha. Body parts ignore mat karo, just go to a specialist and check kara lo na, safety first.

Dekho boss, directly speaking, yes they can. Lazy lifestyle, desk jobs, and autoimmune issues are causing this in youngsters daily. Faltu me tension mat lo, go to a good clinic, get a simple blood test, and clear your doubts instead of guessing.

It can be really scary to think about this at a young age. Don't worry too much, just visit a general physician to rule things out. Take care of yourself.

Please don't make the mistake I did. I kept ignoring my stiff morning fingers for two years thinking it was just typing fatigue. Now my joints have minor permanent damage because I delayed going to a rheumatologist. Go get tested immediately if you feel persistent stiffness.

Yes, juvenile arthritis and autoimmune joint issues are very real in youngsters. Keeping track of exactly when your joints stiffen up can really help the doctor diagnose you faster.

Absolutely, it is not just an old age issue. I log my daily step count and active minutes on my smartwatch, and whenever my knee pain flared up, I logged that too to find patterns. You should get a basic blood panel done to check your CRP and RA factor levels.
