Can you tattoo over psoriasis?

I have psoriasis on my leg, and it makes me hesitant to wear shorts. I was thinking of getting a tattoo to cover it up, but I'm worried if it's okay for the skin. Is it possible to tattoo over psoriasis?

Psoriasis means your skin is already under a lot of stress due to inflammation. Tattooing over it can trigger a condition called the Koebner phenomenon, where new psoriasis patches form on the injured skin. Keeping a clean, plant-based diet helps keep skin calm, but definitely avoid tattooing over active patches.

Please be very careful with this. I had a tiny tattoo done near a dry skin area and it triggered a massive skin infection that took months of heavy antibiotics to clear up. You must consult your dermatologist before going to a tattoo parlor, as they know your skin condition best.

Honestly, psoriasis is already itchy enough to keep me awake half the night, so I can't even imagine adding tattoo needles to that mix. It sounds like a recipe for absolute disaster. Save yourself the pain and the sleepless nights, and keep the needles far away from those patches.

Beta, please don't do this to your body. When God has already given you some skin trouble, why trouble it more with needles and ink? Let your skin rest and heal naturally, and always ask a good doctor before doing these things.

Haan yaar, skin already sensitive hai toh panga mat lo na. Psoriasis wale patches pe tattoo banwane se infection ka bohot bada risk hota hai. Better hai ki pehle skin doctor se baat karo aur safe areas pe hi ink karwao.
