Can you take tylenol on an empty stomach after vomiting?

I had a stomach flu and vomited a lot. Now I have a fever and body aches, but I'm worried about upsetting my stomach more. Can you take Tylenol on an empty stomach after vomiting, or should I wait until I can eat something?

Please be very careful. Taking tablets on an empty stomach right after vomiting can severely irritate your food pipe and cause acidity complications. If you can't keep anything down, you should visit a clinic instead of taking oral medicines.

Listen boss, taking a pill on a totally empty, irritated stomach is a bad idea; it will just come right back up. Sip some coconut water or electoral first, let the stomach settle down for half an hour, and then take it. If vomiting doesn't stop, go see a doctor.

Honestly, if I took Tylenol on an empty stomach after throwing up, my body would definitely reject it immediately. Save yourself the double trouble. Eat a dry cracker or some rice water first, otherwise you are just wasting a pill.

Your system is highly sensitive and raw right after vomiting. Try sipping a warm infusion of ginger or fennel water first to calm the digestive fire. Once your stomach is stable, you can take your medicine with a light toast or biscuit.

I panicked so hard when this happened to me last year because I felt like my stomach was on fire. But my doctor reassured me that it is common; you just need to wait a bit. Just eat a small biscuit and some water first, you will be totally fine.

Hey, don't stress too much! Just don't rush into taking the medicine immediately after vomiting. Let your stomach rest for 30 minutes, try to have a little applesauce or toast, and then take it so it doesn't cause burning. Take care!
