Can you take tylenol and excedrin migraine together?

I suffer from frequent migraines and often take Excedrin Migraine. My husband sometimes suggests Tylenol if I'm out of my usual medication. Can you take Tylenol and Excedrin Migraine together, or is that not advisable?

Taking both together is too much medication. Try to go for a gentle walk in fresh air and drink plenty of water instead of overloading on pills.

My family physician explained that Excedrin already contains acetaminophen, which is the same drug as Tylenol. Taking them together can easily cause an accidental overdose and damage your liver.

I know how terrifying a severe migraine is and how desperately you just want the pain to stop. But please don't mix these two, as it can be really dangerous for your body.

Mixing these without a doctor's advice can lead to severe side effects, resulting in expensive hospital visits. Better to stick to one simple, affordable medicine as directed.

Hey, please don't take them at the same time! Both have paracetamol, so you might end up taking a double dose by mistake. Just stick to one and rest up.
