Can you take ozempic with liver disease?

My sugar levels are quite high, and I also have liver disease that I'm managing. My doctor talked about Ozempic as a new treatment. I wanted to ask if Ozempic is safe to take for diabetes when you already have liver disease, ya will it cause more problems?

Based on my research, Semaglutide is generally metabolized in the body and not directly cleared by the liver, which is why it can sometimes be used in liver patients. However, my doctor noted that severe liver disease requires caution and regular monitoring of liver enzymes. Consult your hepatologist first.

Hey bro, I have mild fatty liver and my doctor actually cleared me for Ozempic, but he warned me that for any advanced liver disease, it's a completely different story. Definitely get your LFT done and show it to a proper doctor.

I log all my health parameters on my app, and tracking liver health is so important when on these metabolic drugs. While some studies suggest it helps with fatty liver, severe liver conditions need close medical supervision. Make sure to consult your doctor.

If you have liver issues, focusing on daily light exercise like a brisk 30-minute walk can be very beneficial for metabolic health. Always consult your specialist before starting Ozempic or changing your routine to ensure it's safe for your liver.

The liver is the main engine of our body, so we must protect it. For liver issues, drinking warm water and avoiding oily foods is always safe. Please do not start these modern injections without a proper checkup from a qualified doctor.

My uncle has a liver condition and his doctor was super strict about what medicines he could take. Ozempic is pretty strong, so definitely don't try to self-medicate. Better safe than sorry, guys.
