Can you take ozempic with kidney disease?

Having type 2 diabetes and also some kidney issues that my doctor is monitoring, they mentioned Ozempic as a new option for my diabetes management. I'm trying to be very careful with my kidneys. Is it safe to take Ozempic if you have kidney disease?

Loving food is great, but kidney health is serious business! Ozempic can cause dehydration, which is a big no-no for kidneys. Please check with your doctor before you start any such medication so you can stay safe.

I panicked so much when my doctor mentioned checking my kidney function before starting Ozempic. But it turns out it's just standard procedure to make sure everything is safe. Once my tests came back fine, we started safely, so just get your tests done!

Yaar, kidney disease is no joke. Actually, Ozempic can cause serious nausea and dehydration, which can put a lot of pressure on your kidneys. You should definitely check with your doctor first before taking any risk.

My elders suggested some traditional herbal drinks for kidney health, but when it comes to advanced medicines like Ozempic, I strongly trust our medical specialists. Please discuss your kidney condition with your doctor before starting this.

Haan bhai, kidney ki dikkat hai toh bilkul dhyan rakhna padega na. Bina doctor se poochhe yeh sab injection mat lena, kyunki paani ki kami se kidneys par load pad sakta hai. Proper checkup karwa lo pehle.

Hey, don't stress too much about this! Kidney issues can be tricky with these new meds, so just have a frank chat with your doctor. They will tell you exactly what's safe for your body, don't worry.

Over the years, I have learned that our kidneys are very delicate filters. Any new medicine, especially for weight or diabetes, must be cleared by a nephrologist first. Don't worry, just take it step by step with your doctor's guidance.

I know how hard it is to manage health issues, but kidney health is something you can't ignore. Make sure you get your routine kidney function tests done and show them to a specialist before starting any new medication like this.

According to clinical guidelines, Ozempic needs to be used with caution in renal patients because of the risk of acute kidney injury from severe dehydration. My doctor told me they closely monitor GFR and creatinine levels if a kidney patient is on this. Please consult your nephrologist.
