Can you take migraine medicine while pregnant?

In my early pregnancy, I've been getting terrible migraines, just like before I was pregnant. I used to take a specific migraine medicine that worked wonders. Now, I'm really worried if it's safe to take any migraine medication while pregnant. What are the options, doc?

I panicked so much when I got a massive migraine during my first trimester. My gynecologist reassured me and gave me a specific safe medication. Just call your doctor, they will help you out.

Certain migraine drugs can affect blood flow, so please do not self-medicate while pregnant. Get it checked with your doctor immediately to get a safe treatment plan.

Some migraine medications are strictly avoided during pregnancy while others are considered safe. Because of this, relying on online forums isn't wise; your doctor's advice is definitely the best way to go.

I had severe migraines during my second pregnancy. My doctor changed my regular meds to a safer option and recommended resting in a dark room. Please get a proper prescription from your gynecologist.
