Can you take magnesium glycinate with kidney disease?

My kidney doctor always tells me to be cautious with supplements. I have trouble sleeping sometimes, and someone recommended magnesium glycinate. I'm not sure if it's safe to take magnesium glycinate if you have kidney disease.

It is so incredibly stressful trying to figure out what is safe to take when you are dealing with kidney issues. I completely understand how overwhelming it feels, but please consult your doctor before starting magnesium glycinate.

I visit a reputed hospital for my family's checkups, and the nephrologist always says to avoid any mineral supplements without approval. With kidney disease, extra magnesium can build up in the blood, which is dangerous. Please ask your specialist clearly.

I totally get it, you just want to find something that helps you sleep or relax, but kidney disease makes everything tricky. It is always safest to talk to your doctor before taking any new supplement.

Hey there! Kidney health is super important, so it is best to be very careful with supplements like magnesium glycinate. Please ask your nephrologist for the right advice, stay positive!

Getting a simple kidney function test done first will help your doctor decide if magnesium glycinate is safe for you. It's much cheaper to get a blood test and a quick doctor's advice than managing complications later.

When kidneys aren't functioning fully, processing supplements can be very hard on them. Even natural or food-derived nutrients need careful monitoring, so please consult your doctor before taking magnesium.
