Can you take cod liver oil and omega 3 together?

I've been trying to improve my heart health and heard that both cod liver oil and omega-3 supplements are good. I already take omega-3. Can you take cod liver oil and omega 3 together, or is that too much?

Honestly, taking both together might be a bit of an overkill because cod liver oil already contains omega 3. Plus, cod liver oil has high amounts of Vitamin A and D, so doubling up might give you a toxic dose of those vitamins. Better stick to just one or ask a doc.

At my age, my cabinet is already full of different pills, but mixing these two will just make your stomach upset. Cod liver oil has enough vitamins to keep you going. Save your money and don't double down on these supplements without a doctor's okay.

I used to take both because I thought more is better for joint pain, but my doctor told me to stop immediately. He said the excess Vitamin A from cod liver oil was getting too high. Now I only take standard omega 3, which suits me much better.

Eating a balanced diet with walnuts, flaxseeds, and fish is the best natural way to get these good fats. If you still feel the need for supplements, please ask your doctor first before mixing different oils. If you feel any stomach pain or nausea, stop taking them immediately.

With our busy lifestyles, we often want to load up on supplements, but combining these two is usually unnecessary since they overlap. Just pick one based on your specific health goals. A quick chat with your doctor during your next routine checkup will clarify what your body actually needs.

Look, don't make your health routine so complicated. Taking both is just wasting your money and putting extra pressure on your liver to process excess vitamins. Just take one normal omega 3 pill if your doctor told you to, and eat well.

There's absolutely no need to take both. Cod liver oil is basically omega 3 plus extra fat-soluble vitamins. If you take both, you are just risking Vitamin A toxicity for no reason. Keep it simple and use only one.
