Can you take advil for fever?

My little one has a fever, and I'm trying to bring it down. I have some Advil syrup at home. Can you give Advil for fever to kids, or should I stick to paracetamol only?

Advil can help reduce fever, but it is always safer to consult a doctor first, especially if the fever is high. Never self-medicate for more than a day or two without professional advice.

I was researching this yesterday! Advil has ibuprofen, which is known to bring down fever and body pain. Just make sure to eat something before taking it so it doesn't upset your stomach.

Yes, Advil is effective for fever. Just ensure you stick to the recommended dosage and don't take it on an empty stomach.

Don't worry, Advil works perfectly fine for fever and body ache. I panicked last month when my fever didn't go down with normal crocin, but taking Advil as advised by my doc really helped me feel better.
