Can you take advil and excedrin migraine together?

My head is throbbing so badly today, and I've tried one painkiller but it's not really working. I have both Advil and Excedrin Migraine at home. Can you take Advil and Excedrin Migraine together to get more relief?

Don't take both together, it is too harsh on the body. Try applying some warm clove oil or a wet cloth on your forehead, and drink warm water. It really helps soothe the migraine naturally.

According to drug interaction checkers, combining NSAIDs like ibuprofen in Advil with the ingredients in Excedrin increases the risk of stomach ulcers. Better to track your triggers and stick to just one medication.

No, you shouldn't combine them. It is a major overdose risk for your liver and stomach. If one pill doesn't resolve your migraine, you need a doctor's prescription for proper migraine-specific drugs.

Please don't double up on painkillers. I used to abuse pain meds for my headaches until I ended up with severe stomach lining issues. If the pain is that bad, please see a specialist.

At my age, my stomach already protests if I eat spicy food, so combining Advil and Excedrin would be a disaster! Don't do it, both are very heavy. Stick to one and go lie down in a quiet room.
