Can you survive without sleep?

I've been struggling with insomnia lately, and some nights I barely get any sleep. It makes me wonder about the human body's limits. How long can someone actually survive without sleep before it becomes life-threatening?

Haan na, sleep ke bina toh bilkul pagal jaisa feel hota hai. Living without sleep is impossible, block ho jata hai dimaag. Try drinking warm milk before bed, it really helps to relax.

No, you cannot survive without sleep, period. Your brain needs downtime to clear out toxins. If you are trying to pull multiple all-nighters for work or exams, stop it because it destroys your productivity anyway.

If you don't sleep, you might not die immediately, but you'll definitely start talking to walls! Your brain will force you to microsleep eventually anyway, so just turn off the Netflix and go to bed.

I totally get it, lying awake all night while the world sleeps is extremely frustrating and exhausting. But your body physically cannot survive without sleep for more than a few days before it starts shutting down. Please consult a doctor if you have severe insomnia.

Bhai, neend toh bhagwan ka tohfa hai, iske bina sharir dhalne lagega. Agar neend nahi aa rahi, toh thoda thandi hawa me tahlo aur mobile phone band karke sone ki koshish karo. Dawai ki zaroorat ho toh doctor ko zaroor dikhana.

My son had severe sleep anxiety during his board exams and it made him physically ill. We created a strict screen-free routine after 9 PM and gave him warm chamomile tea, which worked slowly. You must prioritize sleep for your brain to function properly.
