Can you still get cavities if you brush and floss?

I brush twice a day and floss regularly, and I thought that would keep me safe from cavities. But my dentist just found a new one at my last check-up. Can you still get cavities even if you brush and floss diligently?

Ho na, even after brushing twice daily, cavities can still happen. Sometimes it's just our genetics or deep grooves in the teeth, so a regular dental checkup is a must.

Actually yaar, brushing and flossing is great but your diet matters a lot too. If you keep sipping sweet tea or coffee all day, the acid keeps attacking your enamel anyway.

Yes, completely agree. Sometimes wrong brushing technique leaves plaque behind, so ask your dentist to show you the right way.

Even with a busy routine, clean your teeth properly. But remember, brushing cannot reach microscopic spots, so scheduling a quick 20-minute dental scaling twice a year is highly recommended.

I have seen in my life that some people have weaker enamel by birth. Don't feel discouraged; just keep doing your daily cleaning and rinse your mouth thoroughly after every meal.

Yes, cavities can still develop in hard-to-reach areas of your mouth. Please don't worry, just visit your dentist for a routine cleaning and they will help you fix it.

Since high blood sugar levels can increase sugar in your saliva, diabetics get cavities much faster even with good brushing. Watch your food intake and keep your sugar levels in check.
