Can you still be sick without a fever?

I've been feeling quite unwell for a few days – body ache, headache, and just generally run down. But I don't have a fever at all. My husband thinks I'm just tired, but I feel properly sick. Is it possible to be sick without a fever?

Yes, definitely. I deal with thyroid issues and often feel completely exhausted and sick without ever getting a fever. It is best to get regular blood tests done and consult a doctor to see if there is any underlying issue.

Honestly, same. I get super bad throat pain and exhaustion during exams but my thermometer always says 98.4, so my parents think I am faking it! You can definitely be sick without a high temp.

Yes, sickness can show up as body pain or congestion without any warmth. Take some warm turmeric milk or ginger tea and rest well, your body is definitely trying to heal.

Haan yaar, zaroori nahi hai ki har baar fever hi aaye. Kafi viral infections ya weakness bina fever ke bhi hoti hain na. Bas aaram karo aur zyaada cold feel ho toh doctor ko dikha lo.

The body expresses fatigue and low immunity in many quiet ways, not just through fever. Gentle deep breathing and avoiding heavy foods for a day can help restore your energy flow.

Actually yaar, many times your body just fights off the virus without raising the temperature. I had severe body ache and fatigue last week but zero fever. Just sleep it off or get checked if it gets worse.
