Can you sleep with invisalign?

Just got my Invisalign aligners yesterday, and the dentist said I need to wear them for most of the day. Is it okay to sleep with them in, or should I take them out before going to bed? I'm worried about them getting damaged or being uncomfortable all night.

Yes, absolutely! You are actually supposed to wear them for 22 hours a day, so sleeping with them is a must. Just make sure you brush your teeth and clean the aligners thoroughly before putting them in for the night.

Of course you can, that is how the treatment works. If you take them out at night, you won't reach the required hours and the treatment will take forever. Just stick to the routine your orthodontist gave you.

I just finished my Invisalign treatment last month. You definitely have to sleep with them on. The first few nights might feel a bit tight or uncomfortable, but your mouth gets used to it very quickly.

You must sleep with them, but keep a close eye on your gum health. I once developed a small gum infection because I didn't clean my trays properly before bed. If you notice any bleeding or severe gum pain, consult your dentist immediately.

Yes, you have to wear them to sleep, but I always get anxious about swallowing them in my sleep! Don't worry though, they fit so tightly onto your teeth that they cannot come off on their own. Just make sure they are clicked in properly.
