Can you sleep on acid?

A friend mentioned trying something called "acid" at a party and said he couldn't sleep for a very long time after taking it. I don't know much about it, but it sounds intense. Is it really true that you can't sleep at all after taking acid, or is that just an exaggeration?

For acidity at night, you can chew a little fennel seeds (saunf) or drink cold milk before sleeping. Always sleep on your left side as it naturally keeps the stomach acid from rising into your throat. Take care of your diet.

If you are talking about severe stomach acid or acid reflux, sleeping flat on your back will make it worse. Elevate your head with a couple of pillows and sleep on your left side to keep the acid down.

My teenager often gets acidity during exam stress, making it hard to sleep. I give him a glass of warm water with a bit of cumin powder, which helps. If the chest burning is very severe or accompanied by sweating, consult a doctor immediately.

I suffered from severe acidity for years. Elevating the head of your bed by 6 inches using wooden blocks works much better than just using extra pillows. Avoid eating anything for at least three hours before you go to sleep.

Acidity can make sleeping very uncomfortable. Try drinking a small glass of cold water and sleeping on your left side; it really helps to calm the burning sensation.
