Can you sleep in walmart parking lot?

I'm planning a long road trip through North India and trying to keep costs down. I heard that in some countries, people can sleep in Walmart parking lots overnight. Is this practice common or even allowed in India at large department store parking lots, or is it better to find proper accommodation?

Yes, many stores allow overnight parking for weary travelers. Just make sure to confirm with the specific store manager beforehand to avoid any issues.

If you are traveling abroad and need to rest, some locations do allow it, but please be safe. Always lock your doors, keep your phone charged, and don't park in extremely dark or lonely corners.

When you are on a long journey, finding a safe place to rest your mind and body is very important. Stay calm, keep a positive mind, and check the local rules so you can rest peacefully without any worries.

I actually did this during my road trip in the US last year when I was too tired to drive. I parked right under a security camera, locked up, and had a decent 4-hour nap. It's totally fine if you keep to yourself.

Look, it depends entirely on the specific store and local city laws. Some allow it, some will have you towed. Call the store manager ahead of time and get a direct confirmation instead of guessing.
