Can you run a fever with sinusitis?

I get sinusitis quite often, and it's usually just a lot of pressure and congestion in my head. This time, however, I also feel generally unwell and my forehead is quite warm. Is it common to have a fever if you have sinusitis?

Yes, sinusitis can cause a mild fever. However, since infections can sometimes worsen, please get it checked by an ENT specialist to see if you need antibiotics.

Yes! I get this every winter and it comes with a bad headache too. Doing steam inhalation with a drop of eucalyptus oil really helps clear the block and brings down the feverish feeling.

Yes, you can run a fever. Stop drinking cold water immediately, do steam daily, and if the fever stays high, see a doctor instead of hoping it will go away on its own.

Yes, the body is just clearing out the congestion. Keep your mind peaceful, drink warm ginger tea, and rest. Take care and let yourself heal.

Running a fever is quite common with sinus. Just do hot water steam inhalation twice a day, drink warm water, and rest. If it doesn't settle in two days, go to the local clinic.

I completely understand how uncomfortable it is to have a fever and that heavy pressure in your face. It is actually quite common with sinus infections, so try not to worry too much.

I was just reading about this because my roommate has a bad sinus block and a mild fever. Apparently, the fever is just the immune system fighting off the sinus fluid infection.
