Can you repair fatty liver?

I just had my annual health check-up, and the report showed that I have a mild fatty liver. My doctor said I need to make some lifestyle changes immediately. Can a fatty liver really be 'repaired' completely, or is it just about managing the condition?

Yes, fatty liver is very reversible, especially in the early stages. Just focus on a healthy diet and walk regularly, it will get better.

Listen, stop eating outside fried food and sweets first of all. Cut down on carbs, start exercising at least 30 minutes daily, and the fatty liver will clear up on its own. No shortcuts here.

In my late 40s, my report showed Grade 2 fatty liver. I just cut down on heavy rice and sugar, walked every morning, and within a year it was completely normal. It is very doable.

Don't stress too much, literally every second person has fatty liver nowadays thanks to our lifestyle! Just start doing some light workouts and cut down on alcohol and junk food, you'll be fine.

Since we have desk jobs, fatty liver is very common. Just pack home-cooked meals, avoid sweet tea/coffee at the office, and try to hit 10k steps. It reverses easily with consistency.
