Can you push external piles back in?

I've been suffering from external piles for a few weeks now, and they are quite uncomfortable and sometimes painful. My friend told me I should try to push them back inside. Is it safe or even possible to push external piles back in, or should I not touch them?

Hey bro, don't stress too much, but please be very gentle. If it's a prolapsed hemorrhoid, you might be able to push it back gently with clean hands, but don't force it if it hurts. If it's a hard, painful lump, better to let a doctor take a look at it.

If they are prolapsed internal hemorrhoids, they can sometimes be gently pushed back, but true external piles shouldn't be forced inside. Since chronic issues like thyroid can affect your digestion and cause constipation, it is best to get regular checkups and consult a general surgeon for proper advice.

Uff, this is the worst nightmare for a foodie, because spicy street food makes it so much worse. Don't try to forcefully push external piles in, as you might cause bleeding or severe pain. Stick to fiber-rich papaya and lots of water, and definitely see a doc.

Don't try to force anything back inside because you could end up causing an infection or more swelling. A warm sitz bath for 15 minutes twice a day is a simple and cost-free way to reduce the swelling. If the pain doesn't go away, go to a government hospital or private clinic soon.

I know how embarrassing and physically painful this condition can be, and it really affects your daily life. Please don't force it back in if it is resisting, as it can cause thrombosis which is extremely painful. You are not alone in this, please consult a proctologist without hesitation.

My doctor explained that only prolapsed internal hemorrhoids (Grade 2 or 3) can be pushed back inside. True external piles are under the skin around the anus and cannot be pushed in. He strictly advised against forcing them, as it can cut off blood supply, and suggested a high-fiber diet instead.

I just recovered from this painful phase last month. Don't try to push actual external piles back because they belong outside the anal canal and forcing them will only cause intense throbbing pain. Use ice packs and get a proper prescription ointment from a doctor.

I had a similar issue last year and tried to push it back, but it just made the pain much worse and caused bleeding. I stopped touching it, started drinking plenty of water, and went straight to a surgeon. My experience is that self-managing this is not a good idea.
