Can you poop out kidney stones?

My doctor told me I have a small kidney stone and it might pass naturally. I've been drinking a lot of water. Do kidney stones actually come out when you poop, or do they always pass through urine?

Haha no boss, kidney stones don't go to your stomach! They are in the urinary tract, so they come out when you pee, not when you poop. Trust me, drink lots of water and nimbu paani to flush them out, and maybe cut down on the heavy spicy mutton gravy for a few days.

I totally get it, the pain can be so confusing and you just want it out of your system. But biologically, kidney stones can only pass through your urine. If you are having terrible lower back or stomach pain, please see a doc instead of waiting, okay? Take care.

Bro no way, that's not how anatomy works. Kidney stones are in the urinary system so you basically pee them out, which honestly sounds like a nightmare. If the pain is too crazy, dont just sit there, go to a clinic and get an ultrasound done.

Please don't read weird online forums that say you can pass stones through stools with some magical laxative. It is scientifically impossible because the tracts are completely separate. Talk to a proper urologist who can actually tell you the size of the stone through a scan.

Absolutely not. Kidneys filter blood and make urine, so the stones can only pass through your urinary tract. If you're experiencing severe sharp pain in your back or side, or if there's blood in your urine, get to an emergency room immediately.

No, it doesn't work that way because the urinary tract is separate. If you suspect stones, better to get a basic ultrasound first which costs around 800 to 1200 rupees in most local labs. Don't waste money on random supplements before knowing the actual size of the stone.

Don't panic, but let's correct the facts first. Kidney stones can only be peed out, not pooped out. If the stone is very small, it might pass quietly with lots of fluids, but if the pain is unbearable or you feel nauseous, let's not wait. Get a doc to look at it.

No child, kidney stones do not pass through the bowels, they come out through the urine path. Drinking warm water and eating banana stem juice is traditionally known to help with small stones. However, if there is severe pain or fever, you must consult a doctor immediately.

Actually, kidney stones come out through urine, and it can be quite painful depending on the size. I had a small one last summer and literally survived on barley water and normal water. If you feel a burning sensation or severe back ache, please get it checked by a doctor soon.

My son had a small 4mm kidney stone last year and it only passes through urine, not stool. We had to give him so much water and coconut water to help it slide out. Just keep a close eye on the pain levels, and if they cry with pain, take them to the doctor right away.
