Can you pass kidney stones and not know it?

Heard some stories about people having kidney stones and not even realizing it until much later. Is it actually possible to pass kidney stones without any significant symptoms or pain, so much so that you don't even know it happened?

Yes, very small kidney stones under 2mm can pass out silently without you realizing. However, if you have high blood pressure, you must maintain good hydration and get regular renal checkups to ensure there are no silent blockages.

Absolutely, small gravel-like stones pass easily without any pain. My trick is to keep drinking lemon water throughout the day, which helps break down the small crystals before they grow large and painful.

Yes, they can slip out like silent agents! If it is tiny, it just washes away without any warning. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you passed one without the famous kidney stone drama!

While tiny stones can pass without pain, a larger silent stone can block the kidney and cause damage without immediate symptoms. Always get an annual ultrasound done if you have a family history of kidney stones.

If you drink 3-4 liters of water daily, small stones will naturally flush out without causing any trouble. There is no need for heavy medications unless you start feeling sharp pain in your back.

I was reading some medical forums and apparently, many people pass microscopic calcium crystals in their urine daily. Unless the stone is large enough to scrape the ureter walls, it passes completely unnoticed.
