Can you manage type 2 diabetes without insulin?

My doctor recently told me I have Type 2 diabetes. I'm quite worried about starting insulin injections if it comes to that. Is it possible to control and manage Type 2 diabetes effectively just with diet, exercise, and oral medications, without needing insulin?

Yes, many people do it with just diet and oral tablets, but honestly, it requires a lot of discipline. I struggle to even sleep on time, let alone manage a strict low-carb diet. But if you have the willpower to cut down on sugar and walk daily, it is absolutely possible.

Yes, you can absolutely manage it without insulin in many cases through proper medication, daily exercise, and a low-carb diet. Just work closely with your doctor to monitor your progress.

Type 2 diabetes management is highly progressive. In the early stages, oral hypoglycemic agents, regular cardio, and portion control are highly effective. You don't immediately need insulin unless your pancreatic beta-cells are severely compromised or oral drugs fail.

Haan bilkul, start ke stages me toh bina insulin ke hi manage hota hai na. Doctor tablets prescribe karte hain aur hume apna lifestyle badalna hota hai. Thoda walk karo aur junk food bilkul band kar do, sugar badhiya control me rahegi.

I was devastated when I was diagnosed and kept crying thinking I would have to take insulin injections daily. But my doctor reassured me and put me on basic tablets and a diet plan. It is hard to change your lifestyle suddenly, but you can definitely manage without insulin if you take it step-by-step.

Yes, definitely! Many people successfully manage their sugar levels just by eating healthy, staying active, and taking their daily tablets. Keep your spirits high, eat your green veggies, and walk daily. You can do this!

My doctor just started me on metformin and told me I don't need insulin for now if I lose weight. Did anyone else feel really anxious about whether oral medicines would be enough to keep their HbA1c down? I am constantly checking my sugars out of fear.

Dealing with PCOS-induced insulin resistance has shown me that dietary changes and managing stress can keep blood sugars stable. While many people successfully manage Type 2 without insulin, everyone's body is different. It is best to let your doctor decide the safest approach based on your blood reports.
