Can you join the military with eczema?

I'm considering a career in the military, but I've had eczema since childhood. It's mostly under control now, but sometimes it flares up. I'm worried it might affect my eligibility. Can you join the military with eczema?

If you have severe, active eczema that requires frequent steroid creams, the military will disqualify you. The harsh training gear, sweat, and dust will worsen your skin condition drastically. Save your time and get a thorough dermatological report before applying.

Haan na, skin issues like eczema can become very painful when you sweat during training. If it flares up constantly, how will you wear those heavy boots and uniforms daily, ho na? Best to consult a good dermatologist.

I have mild eczema on my arms and was worried about my medicals. If it is minor and not active during the exam, they might let you through. But if you have open sores or itching, they will reject you on the spot.

Active eczema, especially if it affects wearing military gear, is generally a cause for rejection.

I used to panic thinking my dry skin patches would disqualify me from any government job. But once I got a proper skin treatment and kept it moisturized, the doctor said it's just basic dry skin, not chronic eczema. Get a proper diagnosis first, it might not even be severe.

I track my skin flare-ups and workouts, and heavy sweating always triggers my itching. In the military, you will be wearing thick combat gear in hot climates, which is a worst-case scenario for eczema. Think practically about how your body will react.

Eczema can flare up badly with sweat, friction from heavy uniforms, and field dust. That is why military medical boards are very hesitant to clear skin conditions. If it's just mild childhood eczema, you might get a waiver with a clean doctor's certificate.

Haan, skin conditions pr kafi strict screening hoti hai. If your eczema is mild and doesn't flare up often, you can try for a waiver, na. But if it is severe, training is going to be very difficult for you.
